The Laymor Sweepmaster 300: Helps You Clean Up After the Job Is Done

The Laymor Sweepmaster 300 is a versatile self-propelled sweeper for cleaning up during and after the completion of road, residential and commercial construction projects, turf and athletic field installations, and recently paved walkways and parking lots.

laymor-sweeperEasy to deliver to your next jobsite, the Laymor Sweepmaster 300 features an automotive-style self-adjusting tow hitch that connects through a wiring harness to surge brakes, turn signals and towing lights. It also can be easily driven on and off a delivery truck.

The Laymor Sweepmaster 300’s 60-gallon see-through water tank enables operators to spray water to loosen caked dirt and minimize dust during sweeping. This is an important feature for operators who want a clear view of the area as it is swept.

The hydraulic steering makes turning the sweeper easier and does not tire the operator. The open cab offers a full 360-degree view; water tank and brush adjustment controls are within easy reach; the warning lights, engine oil pressure, water temperature and alternator gauges are clearly visible; and the cushioned seat is comfortable to sit in.

The Laymor Sweepmaster is available with three six- or eight-foot wide brush systems: all-polyethylene brush, or all-steel wire brush, or half polyethylene and half wire. The brush can be adjusted for more or less pressure, depending on the amount of wear on the brush. The brush boom angle can be adjusted up to 40 degrees in either direction, providing the operator with the ability to sweep debris away from the unit. A steel bushing is installed on all sweepers to protect the support rod and from getting bound up with cable and wire, and to prevent punctures to the inner seals. This also prevents back-pressure on the hydraulic system which could result in damage to the motor.

The Laymor Sweepmaster 300 is powered by a Kubota D1105 Tier 4 Final 30 HP engine that can propel the unit up to 7.5 miles per hour across a job site. The unit’s 45-degree turning radius enables operators to make quick and easy turns for realignment at the end of each pass.
