Neff Rental would like to meet all recent or soon-to-be-grads to discuss career opportunities at one of the 40 college, university and technical school career fairs we will be recruiting at this Fall.
In fact, several of the Neff employees at our booths are likely to be graduates from your institution, and understand how challenging it can be to decide on a career path as you finish up your last year in school. Most people narrow their choices to a company that interests them, where they think they will best fit and have opportunities for career growth.
You are reading this blog about Neff Rental because you are curious about the company and what it offers. That’s a good start. We appreciate people who do their homework and evaluate their options.
When you visit the Neff Rental booth at the career fair, you will meet several Neff employees who are interviewing prospective candidates. Typically, we have a corporate recruiter and another employee to introduce you to Neff Rental.
They will listen to you as you explain your background and work experiences, and will inquire about your career goals. Be sure to bring your resume to give to the recruiter.
At colleges and universities, we are interviewing and evaluating candidates for a career in sales and management. We hire recent college graduates who have an aptitude for sales and customer service. Neff Rental also has a paid internship program for college seniors who would like to test-drive a Neff Rental position during their final year in college.
While visiting the booth, we will explain Neff’s career path, which will be illustrated on the booth display and in a brochure. You will also be introduced to Neff’s industry leading training program for entry-level sales coordinators, as well as sales representatives and branch managers. The Neff recruiters will explain and answer any questions about our equipment rental business and the primary industries we serve – construction, industrial, environmental, golf course and sports field development, and oil and gas.
Neff Rental is one of the largest equipment rental companies in the nation. Our in-depth training program, proven sales processes, and quality oriented and nimble operational structure all contribute to our “We Care More” culture, and make us the best in the industry to work for.
At technical school trade shows, we meet and interview individuals interested in pursuing a career in maintenance and repair. While at the booth, we review your experience, the courses you have taken, as well as talk about the types and variety of equipment that you could have the opportunity to work on as a shop or road technician. We’ll explain the online training program for late-model Tier 4 equipment, and branch-level coaching that you will experience. Mechanics also have career paths that can eventually lead to branch, region and corporate management.
At the conclusion of your meeting with the Neff Rental representatives, you will be handed a card to direct you to Neff’s website to apply online for a sales or technician position. If you follow through, be sure to email the Neff Rental contact to tell them that you have completed the application and are ready for the next step. Qualified candidates are invited for a telephone interview with a recruiter and/or a branch manager.
Whether you are exploring a career in sales or as an equipment technician, there are many opportunities for a successful career at Neff Rental’s 65 branches in 14 states.
